The short answer
This site does not use cookies at all — not for tracking, not for advertising, and not for analytics. I checked the site's code directly to confirm this. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook or other ad-network pixel, and no tracking tool of any kind. Because of that, and in line with current guidance from Israel's Privacy Protection Authority, no cookie consent banner is required here — there's simply nothing that requires consent. Still, in the interest of transparency, here's exactly what does happen in your browser.
What is actually used in your browser
- Local storage (localStorage) for accessibility preferences only. If you use the accessibility toolbar (the round button in the corner of the screen) to increase text size, enable high contrast, etc. — your choice is saved in your own browser only, so you don't have to set it again on every visit. This information is never sent to me or anyone else, and does not identify you personally.
- Google Fonts. This site loads fonts (Assistant, Rubik) from Google's servers so the text displays correctly. This exposes your IP address to Google, like any request to an external site — it is not a cookie, and is not fundamentally different from loading an image from another site.
If this changes in the future
If analytics, advertising, or any other tracking technology is ever added to this site, this page will be updated accordingly, and if legally required, an explicit consent banner will be added too.
